Golden Bee Global Biennale 2014
Golden Bee Global Biennale of Graphic Design 2014 (Биеннале Золотая пчела). The exhibition took place in the Moscow Central House of Artists from October 7th till October 12th, 2014.
Main exposition of the Biennale included following parts: Display Types, Black and White, Red and Black, Color and Light in Poster Designs, Digital Effects, Typographic Posters, Poster with a Capital P, Illustration in Posters, Photography in Posters, The Whole World, Polish Poster School, Swiss Poster School, German Poster School, French Poster School, American Poster School, Iranian Poster School, Chinese Poster School, Japanese Poster School, Russian Poster School, Ukrainian Poster School, World War I, Zdanevich 120, Majakovsky 120, Poster Diary, Bach! Bach!, Zajazyk, Grand Prix 2012, Ecological Posters, Faith. Hope. Love.
The number of works submitted to the Golden Bee 11 contest, broke not only the record of previous Golden Bee Biennales, but also the records of every similar exhibitions around the World. About 15.000 entries from 74 countries were offered for the exhibition. National pre-selection Committee selected 1170 works from 57 countries for the main exposition: 1001 works for Category (A) Posters, 60 works for Category (B) Display Types, 54 works for Category (C) Ecology and 55 works for Category (D) Faith.
