  • A powerful message unfolds on this poster, showing a human child figurine sculpted from mud, with its base dissolving into dust. This image powerfully symbolizes the vulnerability of childhood without a healthy environment, reinforced by the accompanying paragraph: "No ground no grow, right to a healthy environment: 'Every child has the right to live in safe and healthy environments to grow. Activities in contact with the ground are a great recipe for happiness and health. Protect these places for them.'

Ground

Designed for the Escucha mi Voz 2014 Poster Contest in Mexico, addressing the brief of Human Rights

This poster reflects my childhood memories of playing with mud, aiming to connect with that primal sense of joy and healthy interaction with our environment.

The design, which required more text than my usual approach, includes the following copy:

Right to a healthy environment: “Every child has the right to live in safe and healthy environments to grow. Activities in contact with the ground are a great recipe for happiness and health. Protect these places for them.”

This poster was selected as a finalist, distinguishing itself among 50 poster designers from Latin America.
